Tax Help

Date: 30 August, 2019

Hello,
I spoke to Laura on the phone today. Basically, I was working sporadically over the course of 4-6 years and never filed my tax return. When I finally worked as a 1099 employee, I filed them and of course owed money. I agree with the amount I owe, but was unable to pay at the time. A collection agent came to me to receive payment, and fraudulently claimed I agreed to a payment plan I never elected to. Now, every 2 months the IRS wipes my bank account, leaving me with no money for my work expenses (I work as a liquidator and need to travel often for months at a time). I am willing to pay the amount owed, but not via this payment plan which doesn’t suit the needs of my job. I just want a new payment plan.

Why Pro Bono?

Have no money thanks to the IRS
