Biography
Michael A. Corson, AAMS® Senior Vice President/Investments
With nearly 25 years of investment industry experience, I have gained extensive knowledge with investment vehicles and how to use them in developing customized wealth management strategies. I began my career as a financial advisor with Gruntal & Co. in 1995 and joined Stifel in 2007 upon its acquisition of Ryan Beck & Co.
I help my clients pursue their goals with an emphasis on capital preservation. To do this, I first take the time to gain a comprehensive understanding of my clients' goals, risk tolerance, and time horizon. Then, I incorporate both FDIC-insured and fixed income investments into my clients' overall plan where appropriate and provide a variety of risk mitigation strategies that are customized to their unique needs.
In addition to attaining the Accredited Asset Management Specialist℠ (AAMS®) designation, I earned a Bachelor of Science from Syracuse University and hold Series 7, 63, and 65 securities licenses, as well as life, health, and variable insurance licenses (including annuities).
